Alongside permanent signs for your business, Sid’s Signs on Broadway can compliment your sign with garment embroidery, silk screening, promotional items, and business products such as business cards, flyers, vinyl banners, and related items. Furthermore, we can place your business on your vehicle with either just your logo and basic information or a full vehicle wrap to give it that one-of-a-kind look.
The Start
Sid DeLeo (owner) started the business in a 1300 square-foot facility at 1021 South Broadway, New Ulm, MN. Jan, his wife, did bookkeeping and in 1990 became more involved with the sign business. Their son, Chris, came on board in 1997 to assist the business as a graphic designer/assistant manager. At this time, the family increased their single graphics computer to three and added a digital full-color printer.
Having been in art and design, Sid in the early years hand-drew logos and designs; he also hand-lettered posters, vehicles, and sign boards. As the years continue, the team has added many different areas. Neon and neon repair, plastic/metal letters, and crane/boom services were all present not long after the other new additions.
Today
As the business grew so did the need for space. This was taken care of in 2002 when, Sid, Jan, and Chris built a 4500 square-foot facility at the current location, 700 North Broadway in New Ulm.
Sid’s Signs On Broadway has enlarged their productivity to include everything from posters to large electronic signs. The new facility as well has a bay for lettering all types of vehicles, and a large showroom display for our customers – and do not forget the four boom trucks!
